We can’t be sure that everyone sees colors the same. Our eyes sense wavelengths of light which help us to identify colors.  One person’s perception green may be closer to brown, while another person may perceive purple. Objects reflect or absorb light from  lamps or sources such as the sun which in turn influence what we see.  Each person’s eye has different proportions of the three cone cells which affects our interpretation of color.
